Most Event fields are obvious, but there are 2 "relationship" fields that are critical to site functionality. Near the top, the "Event Location" field needs to be set to the appropriate Location. This field is required, so the Event shouldn't even save if it's not set. However, there is another "Event - Location Relationship" field towards the bottom. MAKE SURE to also select the same Location in this field. If it's set correctly, you should see the selected Location in the right column.
Forgot to mention in the video, but you always need to save your changes with the blue button in the top right of the editing pages. If you're editing an existing Event, it'll say "Update". If you're creating a new one, the button is in the same place but will say "Publish" (Screenshots below to see exactly what you're looking for).
